Entre las novedades discográficas de la semana nos encontramos con, «Release me 2» de Barbra Streisand, que ya había publicado «Release me» en 2012.
«Release me 2», es la nueva producción discográfica de Barbra Streisand, un disco con 10 canciones inéditas de su archivo, compuestas por Burt Bacharach, Hal David, Barry Gibb, Paul Williams, Randy Newman, Michel Legrand y Alan & Marilyn Bergman, Harold Arlen y Carole King. El primer adelanto del disco es «I’d want it to be you».
El álbum incluye duetos con Kermit the Frog («Rainbow connection»), Willie Nelson («I’d want it to be you») y Barry Gibb («If only you were mine»), además de versiones inéditas de «You light up my life», «Be aware, «Sweet forgiveness», «Living without you», «One day (A prayer)», «Right as the rain» y «One you’ve been in love».
